The graduate of Animal Husbandry is able to:
- Work in a rational and sustainable manner with domestic animals and wildlife.
- Design installations and plans of livestock management suitable to different species.
- Make a suitable natural or artificial environment for the comfort and well-being of animals as well as manage the ecosystems of wildlife.
- Implement nutritional plans adequate for different species of animals, taking advantage of available natural resources.
- Accomplish reproductive management, appraisal, and genetic selection of productive lines and their conservation.
- Plan, apply, and evaluate sanitary programs for animals, their products and by-products, with the goal to improve animal and public health.
- Create paths of transformation and commercialization of whole animals, their parts, and their products.
